Twelve years ago I embarked upon my third career, by founding a landscape design and build firm called Garden Rooms.All went well with my old selling style until 2008. Essentially, people were just buying in a boom - very little real selling was required. As the bottom fell out of the real estate and construction markets, my business fell like a stone in water. WHAT TO DO?
For much of the past 40 years, I've been involved in sales, one way or the other. Some of the things I did were instinctual, but many were skills I acquired through various training programs and techniques found in famous books. Just as those pages had yellowed, and I had aged over time, I realized that my energy and techniques for selling had become dated and not as effective as they should be. I decided to try the Sandler system , and I'm so glad I did!
The system helps me be more effective with different personality types, stay focused on 'my process,' and feel more confident in all sales situations. It's not just Techniques, but also organizing my Behaviors and positively affecting my Attitude that the classes help me to adjust.
My sales are up by over 50% and I continue to attend classes because they help me stay at
my best. The sharing and benefits come not only from the instructors Rich and Rob, but
from other attendees as well. Networking is done among those who participate and I've done business with several people I might not have met were it not for Sandler Training....an added bonus!
